Greggs Delivered is being trialled at Cobalt Business Park and trials in Newcastle city centre and Quorum Business Park will follow.

reggs’ sausage rolls and stottie sandwiches could soon be delivered to your door following the launch of a new delivery service.

The food-on-the-go firm, based in Newcastle, has launched Greggs Delivered at Cobalt Business Park in North Tyneside , choosing the park to test the new service.

From today, the 14,000-plus strong workforce at the park will be able to order their sandwiches, salads and sausage rolls from the Greggs at the Cobalt Central retail area for delivery to their office door.

Greggs is inviting customers to choose what they want to order from a selection of platters to single sandwiches and sweet treats, and the order will be delivered to their door the same day.

The service launched at Cobalt Park as the first location in the country with more trial locations coming soon.

Amy Carroll, communications manager at Cobalt said: “I am sure Greggs Delivered will provide a popular choice for our businesses catering for meetings and for people who just fancy a team lunch.

“This service adds to a host of fantastic lunch options staff at the park have to choose from which include their own canteens, The Village Hotel Starbucks, bar and restaurant, Cobalt Central retailers, the fantastically popular Tasty Thursday pop-up restaurant event, plus a host of outlets locally at the Silverlink and Northumberland Park. Staff will be spoilt for choice.”

Next on the list for trial areas is Newcastle city centre, to be followed by Quorum Business Park, London and Manchester city centres.
