A flagship building at the entrance to the UK’s largest business park is ready to support hundreds of jobs following the first round of a major refurbishment.
A significant sum has been invested into CobaltOne at North Tyneside's Cobalt Business Park, updating the reception area while also creating a show-floor on the third level to demonstrate the potential of the 45,000 sq ft property. The owners of the office have pledged to support tenants to create a space bespoke to their business needs as works continue.
Property consultancy Naylors Gavin Black, which is marketing the building, said it has seen interest from organisations looking to move into the 250-acre business park, which is home to major employers including accenture and Sage.
Chris Pearson, partner at Naylors Gavin Black, said: “This is a very exciting offering that has the potential to attract many hundreds of good quality jobs to the Newcastle area.
“The labour market is as tight as ever and employer location is now one of the things that receives more emphasis by potential employees, who can be more selective about where they work. Workers want modern offices with good transport connections, and more leisure and food options nearby.
“Workplace culture has shifted to place more of a focus on wellbeing and work/life balance, and this is reflected in our tenant and client demands. CobaltOne is absolutely on trend and has much to offer businesses looking to differentiate themselves in the competitive labour market. It is important that as a business we evolve and work with clients to provide office space suitable for today’s workforce.”
