Looking for work? Hundreds of jobs will be available at Cobalt Park fair

Firms including Accenture, Perfect Image, EE, Utilitywise, Santander as well as Northumbria Police and North Tyneside Council will be recruiting for a range of positions.

Hundreds of jobs will be up for grabs at an upcoming recruitment fair in North Tyneside.

The event, due to take place at Cobalt Business Park on October 18, will have representatives from a range of industries including IT, finance, sales, customer service and the public sector.


Among the organisations attending are Accenture, Perfect Image, mobile operator EE, Utilitywise, Cobalt Hospital, DXC Technology, Santander, Northumbria Police , North Tyneside SCITT and North Tyneside Council ’s fostering service.

Full-time, part-time, apprenticeship, training and graduate opportunities will be on offer as well as entry level to senior positions.


The fair, which will take place between 11am and 3pm at Cobalt 23, has been organised by the council in partnership with Cobalt Park.

It is being held for the fourth year. Last year’s was hailed a success after 1,200 jobseekers turned up.


Adam Parker, 22, was among those who went along and met representatives from IT firm Perfect Image.

After a discussion with them, he left with some information about the company and what they do.

A couple of months later, he saw a job advert on the firm’s website and immediately applied.

It turned out to be one of the best decisions he could have made.

Adam, from Washington , said: "I used all the material they gave me at the jobs fair to help me write my CV specifically for this position and the rest of the application process.

"Since then I have managed to get a job here and I’m now a graduate developer and have been for the last six or seven months.

"I'm really glad that I’m here and don’t want to leave any time soon because the environment and people are great."
