New owners take over at popular cafe

New owners have taken over the running of a popular food establishment at a busy business park. Spud & Lettuce, at Cobalt Central’s retail parade, opened Monday 6th March under new family-run management.

The healthy fast food café will continue to provide a selection of wraps, baked potatoes and power salads as well as adding to the menu with an extended breakfast range, hot beef sandwiches and a selection from Pasta King. To celebrate and thank all customers for their support, the new family team running Spud & Lettuce are offering all customers during this week the opportunity win a nights bed and breakfast for two at Ramside Hall Hotel in County Durham.

Tracey Wilkinson, new business manager at Spud & Lettuce, said: “Our goal is to provide, affordable, wholesome and healthy fast food to the hungry hordes at Cobalt, either in our comfortable surroundings or in deliveries which are available on all orders placed by 11am. “Spud & Lettuce already has a loyal following who we will be thanking with rewards cards and this week’s fantastic Ramside Hall competition. “We are hoping to really become part of the strong community here at the park, as a key offering at Cobalt Central which is a great a space where people meet friends, relax and enjoy their down time.”
