The project is a collaboration involving Cobalt Business Park, North Tyneside Council, local employers, and schools. 

We believe that every young person in North Tyneside should have the chance to connect with various employers and gain firsthand experience of the world of work. Our goal is to strengthen relationships between local employers and North Tyneside schools, inspiring and motivating young people to develop essential skills for their future success.

Work Experience is a vital part of the curriculum in year 10 and year 12 and is a great opportunity for young people to gain an insight into the world of work.

Whether virtual or in-person, we believe that high quality work experience improves students’ understanding of how industry operates, helps build self-confidence and helps students develop skills which they will need throughout their life.
